DMCA Policy

Vashort.biz.id ("we", "us", "our") operates a URL-shortening service located at [vashort.biz.id] (the "Service"). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.

1. We Are an Intermediary, Not a Host

Our Service allows users to create shortened links that redirect visitors to third-party destination URLs chosen by the user who created the link. We do not host, store, control, or review the content found at any destination URL. Any content displayed after a shortened link redirects is the sole responsibility of the user who created the link and/or the owner of the destination website.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that a shortened link created through our Service redirects to content that infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice. To be effective, your notice must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the specific shortened link (URL) and, if possible, the destination URL it redirects to;
  • Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Notices can be submitted to:

Email: [support@vashort.biz.id]
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Request

3. Our Response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will disable or remove access to the reported shortened link within 1 business days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account of any user found to be repeatedly linking to infringing content.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe a link was disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • Identification of the link that was disabled and its location before it was disabled;
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the link was disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in [team VASHORTS].

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
